We hope that everyone is staying safe and healthy during this time. Nicole, our faithful former First Voice Communications Manager for 8 years and a new mother sent us an Amabie yokai spirit to repel the COVID-19 pandemic. This came from Kyushu island in 1846 and is associated with refuge from epidemics. A reminder that we are all fighting this together.

Here at First Voice we are moving forward and working on ways to uplift the community around us through art because we know that is what will get us through this time. Please enjoy these offering we have been doing online as you stay home!

Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day, First Voice proudly presents a series of artist videos, all made during shelter in place, from the First Voice family of artists and healers. With these offerings, we radiate healing energy, and resonate in new and ancient ways with Mother Earth, so we can re-member how to love and care for Her and one another.

Story Time

Join Mark and Brenda for story time as they recount a sunny day in Golden Gate Park, a stalker, and the kindness of strangers in the time of COVID-19.

Sho Meditations

Sho it is the Japanese version of the older Chinese instrument the Sheng which represents the Phoenix. Westerners know the Phoenix as the bird that rises from the ashes but in the East, the phoenix is the bird that only comes in a time of peace and tranquility. Join Mark every weekday morning at 10:00 am PST on Facebook Live as he calls forth the Phoenix with a healing meditation on Sho.
